TuranjTuranj is a traditional Dalmatian village with a population of around 1200. It is ideally placed on the northern Pašman coastline, just in the centre of a beautiful archipelago consisting of 16 islands.

In the midst of the Adriatic Sea and Pašman, Turanj is on the road between Zadar and Šibenik, and is surrounded by almost 15 kilometres of attractive and peaceful coastline, together with a range of small islands. The largest and closest island is Babac, and is well worth a visit.

The town centres around a church dedicated to the Lady of Carmel, and dates from the 15th century. Turanj is connected to the centre of Sveti Filip i Jakov by a promenade callled "Lungo Mare".
